SERMON

We’re returning to our summer study of the Psalms this week. Elder Taelor Gray will be preaching on Wisdom in the Psalms. As we go through the the Book of Psalms let us remember the meaning behind the authors words and led the Holy Spirit guide us in correct understanding.

LITURGY

L: O Lord Most High, who dwells beyond the heavens, You can’t be compared with anything, you’re far beyond our loftiest thoughts.
C: Gather us together in the name of Jesus, whom the angels adore, whose name is above every name.
L: Lead us in our worship, that all we do might be filled with your grace, directed by your wisdom, informed by the truth, and accomplished to your glory.

C: We ask all this through Christ, our Lord, whom with you, our Father, and the Holy Spirit, we constantly seek to glorify. Amen!

MUSIC

Check out this list of some of the songs we will be singing together this week:

  • “More and More” – a simple song that calls to us to the reality that God’s goodness is all that we need to be fulfilled.
  • “Be Thou My Vision” – A song that reminds us that God is our sustainer and the source of our knowledge and wisdom.

Here is a link to a Spotify playlist. Even though our arrangements might be slightly different, listen through these songs and see the great truths that they speak about our God and then come prepared to sing them out loudly and joyfully as a gathered church.
