Community groups meet as small groups throughout the week in people's homes to grow deeper in their relationships with Christ and each other in community, making the church more than a location, but a home and family.

While we meet on Sunday mornings at two separate campuses, Community Groups are based more on friendships and location and bring together people who gather at the Short North campus with people who gather at the Tri-Village campus.

WHAT TO EXPECT//

These groups aren’t for “really committed church people,” as if coming on Sunday is JV and in Community Groups you move up to varsity. They are for everyone, from atheists to infant Christians to those who have claimed Jesus for a long time.

Groups are similar in structure, though there is a great deal of variety. On a normal evening the group will discuss the sermon from Sunday and really wrestle with how to apply its truths to our lives. There will be prayer and some time for hearing what the Lord is doing in our lives. Some weeks a group may decide to mix it up and spend some time serving the city; or you may make a meal together and spend time getting to know each other better.

The groups are very casual; there is no pressure to have all the right answers or all the pieces together. It really is all about drawing closer to each other and to Jesus.

JOINING A GROUP//

If you would like to join or visit a group, find a group that's close to you through the link at the bottom of this page, contact the leader, let them know that you'll be visiting, ask for directions to their home and go! It's that simple! Another way to find a group is to attend one of our gatherings, meet someone and ask them if you can go to their group with them.

Please feel free to visit more than one to find a good fit. These groups usually have visitors on a normal basis, so chances are you won't be the only visitor!
