Jesus was the ultimate missionary, and He tells us to make His name known. We are called to be missionaries for God both at home and abroad, to be a light for Him in a dark and broken world. Our call is not merely to be faithful believers, but to reflect God’s glory in our city and in the world. We join Him in the renewal of His people and His creation, pursuing and managing the growth of our home church and the universal church. We must step out of our fear of rejection or selfish comfort to proclaim Christ both here and abroad.
Many times, our mission starts very close to home, with friends, family, and co-workers. At Veritas, our desire is to pursue and live life with the community around us — to equip our members to be mission-focused in a very local and personal context. God does not call everyone into missions abroad, some of us He calls to be a light for Him very close to home. In this spirit, Veritas encourages Community Groups and individuals to pursue the people in our city.
God also calls some of us to reach further from home. With this in mind, Veritas works as part of the Sojourn Network to invest in new church plants as well as to learn from many long-established churches across the United States.
Finally, we recognize that God calls us to mission around the globe, reaching out to people outside of our culture and experience. With this heart, we are actively involved in international outreach missions, sending members, giving financially, and going ourselves to be a light to the larger world. One of our members is currently serving in South Asia, sharing the gospel with AIDS patients. As a church, we have recently partnered with and helped plant Redeemer, a church plant in Leeds, England.
If you would like more information on partnering with Veritas financially for a short-term or long-term mission trip, please fill out this form.

To learn more about what we believe about Mission and how we live that out as a Gospel rhythm, we recorded a sermon in a series around our 3rd Anniversary:
