Veritas Gathered: Preparing for Sunday – April 20th, 2014

GOOD FRIDAY // EASTER SUNDAY

This weekend is a special one for Veritas. As we approach the end of Holy Week we will be celebrating Good Friday as well as Easter. We will remember that our God was broken, our God suffered loss, and our God identifies with our pain more than we do. We will celebrate the Gospel’s trajectory of bringing us out of the death and despair of our sin and to the Glory that is ours in Christ Jesus. We will embrace the joy in knowing death has not won final victory because Jesus rose from the dead, resurrecting the tired bodies and wearied souls of the church with Him. Both of these gatherings will be held at Upper Arlington High School and will include both the Short North and Tri-village campuses.
