In this passage we so the great generosity shown by those who received the Holy Spirit to those who were in need. We also see the apostles giving their testimony about Christ and the reality of his resurrection! So, as we continue through Acts lets open our ears and our hearts to hear from God through His Word and follow Him graciously! We will start the gathering by singing “Everything Is Yours”

Song: “Every Praise- Hezekiah Walker”

L: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God!
C: It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
L: Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

C: For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generation
– Ps 100

Song: “Holy Holy Holy”

L: Lord, in light of your glory, we see how often we are selfish in our ways. We have taken what you have given us and have used them in ways unpleasing to you. Help us to count our lives as not our own but Yours.
C: Lord, remind us that we were bought with the price. We are saved through the grace you displayed by nailing our sins on the cross with Jesus Christ.
L: May your love cause us to testify of and live in response to your holiness, your glory, and your never-ending, incorruptible grace. Your love has brought us out of condemnation, and this was not our own doing, but a gift of grace from You.
C: All praise and glory be to Jesus Christ! You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords! Amen!

Based on Acts 20:24, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 6:24

Song: “Oh Love That Will Not Let Me Go”

Because of Christ’s work on the cross, his death and resurrection, we have been brought back into communion with our God! Because of Jesus, we can sing out with confidence, “In life and death, Lord, Abide with me.”. Our God is with us! We have peace with our creator, our Father. And that same peace is among us this morning, because the Spirit of God unifies us together in Christ! Lets demonstrate this together as we take a few moments to greet each other.

Song: “My Song is Jesus”

C: We give You thanks, great God, for the hope we have in Jesus, who died but is risen and rules over all. We praise You for His presence with us. Song: “The Love of God”

May the grace of Christ, which daily renews us, and the love of God, which enables us to love all, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, which unites us in one body, make us eager to obey the will of God until we meet again, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
