Sending and Saying Goodbye
After many years of service to Veritas Community Church, Pastors Scott Hambrick, Ryan Stanley and their families are transitioning away from Columbus. Their contributions are uncountable. Stories of their love and leadership are indelibly impressed in the minds and hearts of many at Veritas.
After seven years of teaching in Springfield’s public schools, Scott Hambrick and his family have decided to make Springfield their home. Ryan Stanley has accepted the call to be a lead pastor at a church in a suburb of Chicago. Ryan’s last day as staff at Veritas was February 23rd, but he will transition his family to Illinois at the end of this school year.
The Stanleys and Hambricks belonged to the Tri-Village congregation. On February 2nd, 2017 Tri-Village Lead Pastor Brad Snyder addressed the members with the news of their upcoming departure. Ryan Stanley and Scott Hambrick followed with two heart-filled messages to share their news personally and to thank Veritas for their fellowship. Tri-Village recognized the men and their families on Sunday, February 26th while commissioning them to their new service.
