‘Biblical Proclamation’ is a three week elective covering the theology of gospel proclamation and providing biblically sound methods to equip you in presenting the gospel in a variety of situations and relationships. The student will gain from this class a biblical understanding of gospel proclamation that will challenge the culturally influenced understanding that permeates the church. They will likewise gain experience in proclamation as the class will equip the student with scripturally sound methods and require the utilization of those methods inside and outside of the classroom throughout the elective.
In preparation for the class, you will need to read a short book entitled, God Has A Wonderful Plan For Your Life: The Myth of the Modern Gospel by Ray Comfort. We have these books available, and so after you register, we will provide you a copy. You can find your copy with a post-it bearing your name on it at the Connect table on the Sunday after you register.
Please register so we can prepare the right amount of content. If you are planning to utilize our childcare, you must register by Wednesday, March 6th at 11:59pm.
Yes! However, priority spots in the childcare are given to parents who attend the Short North congregation. You may continue to register; however, if we end up with space limitations, it’s possible we will not have room for your child(ren) in childcare.
