Biblical Disciple-Making
Students will understand the motivation for, intended scope of and methodology of Biblical disciple-making, with emphasis on their personal responsibility. They will be trained in the five part process of church planting: entry, gospel proclamation, discipleship, local church formation, and leadership development/multiplication. Central to the training are biblical evangelism, short and long-term plans for biblical discipleship, formation of a healthy church body, and the all-important concept of reproducibility. This training transcends cultural lines so that it is immediately practical for all those committed to following Christ, no matter their ministry focus (Americans, internationals, youth, the poor, etc.). The training is open to all Veritas members, and is mandatory for all Veritas long-term missionary candidates.
