Adoption & Foster Care
Veritas family,
Amidst a discourse concerning faith and the law, Paul writes these powerful words of truth to the Church in Galatia,
“…In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons…” Galatians 4:3-5
November is National Adoption Awareness Month. The parallels between adoption and the gospel are clear. Through Christ we are adopted as sons and daughters of God, and heirs of Christ. Throughout the month of November we will be highlighting some of the diverse ways one can impact a child who may not know God’s love as a Father.
We invite you to pray for those in our church and in our city who are practically demonstrating God’s redeeming love through adoption, foster care, and working with vulnerable youth.

We also invite you to get involved in a very tangible way!
