All of ministry is a calling. For some, that is a calling to ministry in their vocation. For others, ministry is their vocation, if only for a season. From the Pastor to the newest of part-time employees, Veritas staff role is a ministry role and is shaped and envisioned to advance the ministry and mission of Veritas Community Church.
Connect Ministry Coordinator
Short North
This role oversees Sunday morning hospitality, the Connect ministry team members, and the follow-up process (assimilation process) for all connect cards and visitors. They are to cultivate a welcoming, safe, and accessible space for the church family to gather and for visitors to feel engaged and informed.
LEC Site Leader
Short North
This role will oversee the Learning Extension Center (LEC) ministry that is currently being offered within the Short North Veritas building for the rest of the 2021 school year. The Site Leader will work closely with the Director of Mercy & Justice to implement the vision and strategy of the LEC ministry, and ensure all goals and standards for the LEC are being met.
Childcare Staff
Central
Veritas childcare staff will serve parents of Veritas by supervising their children during Veritas-offered events. Staff members will work together to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children in attendance.
Facilities Coordinator
Central
The Central Facilities Coordinator is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs at all Veritas Community Church properties. This role functions as the liaison between the church and all vendors relating to building function.
