Overview of this Role
This role oversees Sunday morning hospitality, the Connect ministry team members, and the follow-up process (assimilation process) for all connect cards and visitors. They are to cultivate a welcoming, safe, and accessible space for the church family to gather and for visitors to feel engaged and informed.
Essential Functions
- Give vision to and execute a plan to ensure all gatherings are hospitable, safe, free from distractions, accessible, and welcoming to visitors with clear access points to engage them.
- Recruit and equip the hospitality team, security team, and offering counters for all the needed gatherings.
- Recruit, train, and develop team leaders to carry out gathering functions through leading the various teams. (The expectation is that you will be at 75% of the gatherings each month.)
- Ensure the building is opened and prepared for each gathering and then adequately closed up.
- Oversee the monthly Veritas in 10 and follow up with those who attend.
- Carry out all pre and post-gathering Connect and hospitality tasks (manage online registration, input attendance numbers, supply inventory and ordering, etc)
- Execute the weekly follow-up process for all connect cards, working with the Community Life Pastor and Lead Pastor to develop it and keep it effective.
- Adjust and maintain the gallery aesthetics.
