Marriage Classes
These classes are geared towards engaged couples or newlyweds who are in their first year of marriage. All five classes and mentorship through Veritas are required for anyone looking to be married by a Veritas pastor. For more information about asking a Veritas pastor to officiate your wedding or using a Veritas church for your ceremony please contact us.
Please sign up so we can properly prepare the right amount of printed materials. Each class is a Wednesday night at the Short North building from 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
Dates
August 24: Theology/Purpose of Marriage
September 28 : Communication & Conflict
October 19: Marriage & Money
November 16: Intimacy & Sex
December 14 : Biblical Roles
All classes take place at the Short North building.
Marriage Mentoring
Getting married is one way we can display the beauty of the gospel, and we want you to be cared for and equipped to enter into this covenant with love, grace, and wisdom from the Word and that takes care to address your unique stories. We encourage you to identify a mentor couple who can walk alongside you. Ask your community group leader or pastor if they are aware of any couples who might be a good fit to mentor you during your engagement.
