Pop Up Sunday
Sunday, September 4th
Short North Congregation
On Sunday, September 4th, we will have our first “Pop Up Sunday” since the pandemic. This is an exciting milestone for our students in Kids’ Ministry. We have students in class right now who have come of age to advance to the next classroom. Infants becoming toddlers, toddlers going into preschool, and preschoolers becoming elementary students. For those students, they will advance (affectionately known as “popping up”) to the next classroom! What makes this so special? What this means is that students have been hearing the Gospel, seeing it on display, and feeling its goodness in one space for months or even years. With that comes memories and stories of their time in a particular class. And now they are going on to a new space where that same Gospel will be presented over and over again, but in a way that they can access in their current stage of development. New memories will be made, new lessons will be taught and caught, and the same Jesus will be honored in the life of our students!
Parents, here is what you need to know. If your infant is now walking, they will move to toddlers. If your child is now 3, they will be in Upper Toddlers. If your child is now 4, they will be in PreK. If your child is going into Kindergarten, they will be in Elementary! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me directly and I’d be happy to help.
