Remembering our Redemption
Jesus said, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you…the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you”. – John 14:18, 26-27

We often forget who we are. We feel the demands of the world weighing heavily on us, and we must constantly fight to remember who we are and why we are here. We hear that damning voice, which values high performance while demeaning our efforts. It whispers, “If only you were smarter, if only you were respected, if only you were beautiful, if only you were wealthy.”

“Remembering Our Redemption” is a series of teachings that calls us to warm ourselves near the fire of Jesus’ freeing grace. It is an opportunity to hear and receive the greatest news ever told, from Creation to Glory! We will traverse through ten key moments in the Bible that reflect the larger narrative of the gospel story. This story informs us of our own stories, and if we can listen, we will hear our Lord speak life into our lives and transform us with his words.

Let this series serve as a constant reminder that you are not an orphan. Let the scriptures help you to remember your identity. Dwell upon its wisdom, and remember your redemption story.
