Covenant

He was supposed to make a covenant with God but he couldn’t do it—Abraham was asleep. So God himself, breaking the sacrifices in two, manifested in the form of a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed through the pieces for the world to know this truth: A contract has been made between man and God to provide a new land. If I the contract is broken, let what is done to this sacrifice be done to us.
