Incarnation

As broken and flawed as the characters in God’s story are, he loved them so much that wrote himself into the story—into the brokenness and hurt and pain—to rescue them. God clothed in flesh; King clothed in dust; Heaven clothed in earth; Uncreated clothed in creation. He didn’t merely visit or commute, he moved in. He became as we are, so that we might become as he is.

Mark 1:14-15

Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
