Song: “Hail The King” by Citizens
Reading: Call to Worship
L: Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang:
C: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”
L: Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing:
C: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
– Revelation 5:11-13
Song: “Our Great God” Fernando Ortega and Mac Powell
Reading: Confession/Assurance
L: Lord God, we thank you for the comfort of your promises, and we long for the coming of your kingdom in Jesus Christ, our Lord. We lament before you the signs that your kingdom has not yet come in fullness.
We lament signs of brokenness and the wars among the community of nations. [Silence]
We lament that Christians are persecuted throughout the world because they profess the name of Jesus. [Silence]
We lament the broken relationships in our community, and the pain that brokenness brings with it. [Silence]
We lament that many of our friends and family have chosen to ignore or disown the gospel of Christ. [Silence]
We lament the physical and emotional abuse of children and spouses in our city.[Silence]
We lament poverty, racism, human trafficking, and all forms of exploitation that are present in our city. [Silence]
Yet with resolute hope, despite our sadness, we say with the our church and the saints through the ages:
C: Come Quickly, Lord Jesus. May grace and glory be known. May your kingdom come and your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Song: “Love Shines” by Matt Carter, Philip Edsel, and Aaron Ivey
Reading: Commitment
L: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
C: Jesus came and perfectly exampled how our mission might be lived out.
L: Father, keep us from looking to the world to determine how we should live our lives and help us to continually look to Jesus’ life for guidance in living out our mission.
C: Give us the faith and courage to live in the radical, joy-producing way Jesus calls us to live. May we be grateful for the kingdom of God that we have been brought into and may we boldly live out our mission to proclaim Jesus as Savior and King.
– Based on Hebrews 12
