:::ADORATION:::
In scripture we are called to gather together as the church and to worship God and encourage each other, but what does this look like: sitting back and enjoying the songs, as a spectator and just checking the box from a to-do list…
Scripture calls us to gather together and remember the glory of God and respond to it. We are a forgetful people, and we live in a world with a million distractions that take our focus away from our Savior.
We are called to Participate in gatherings, and to Participate in remembering and experiencing the glory of Jesus, by singing, reading, thinking deeply, feeling, praying to God and allowing the spirit of God to draw our hearts to the Glory of God!
Lets respond with Worship and Joy! Lets invite the Holy Spirit to reveal the Glory of God to us!
L: The love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us;
C: we dwell in him and he in us.
L: Give thanks to the Lord and call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples. Sing to him, sing praises to him, and speak of all his marvelous works.

:::CONFESSION/ASSURANCE:::
Pray this prayer, asking that God would lead our wandering hearts, our selfish minds, back to God…
L: Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

:::PASSING OF THE PEACE:::
We sinners have been led back to God through Christ
L: So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now!
C: This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
L: And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
C: For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

We have been reconciled to God! We have been brought back into relationship with one another and with God!

L: Jesus’ death brings us life and this meal reminds us that we are fed by Jesus and forgiven because of Jesus.
C: We rejoice that You have died, have risen, and are now with the Father advocating for us. Amen.
L: With our money, time, and talent we give generously, knowing that through Your Son, Jesus, You have generously given to us.
C: We rejoice that You have given everything and we joyfully give everything back to Your care. Amen.

:::COMMITMENT:::
Our sinful souls are now counted free because of Christ! But we often live in defeat, we live as if we are enslaved to sin, as if we have never experienced the love of God! But this is why we need each other to speak the gospel, to remember our salvation, each of us needs to hear this truth and believe it and respond to it!
C: But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved! God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
